We were bothered by the same thing: when did eating better become so complicated?
The “better” options were expensive, hard to find and often bland.
So we made our own snacks.
We started at the source: sweet potatoes from our own farms,
grown in Indonesia’s volcanic-rich soil. Non-GMO corn. Coconut oil. All-natural seasonings.
Then thousands of tastings, tweaks and tiny adjustments to get the flavors exactly right.
Would MSG make our lives easier? Absolutely.
MSG is delicious. But easy isn’t the point.
The result: ridiculously good snacks,with big bombastic flavor and ingredientswe’re proud to stand behind.

RASA means taste in Bahasa Indonesia, the thing we care about most. We make popcorn and sweet potato chips in Indonesia using all-natural ingredients and coconut oil. Our popcorn starts with non-GMO corn, while our chips start with orange and purple sweet potatoes from our own farms.
We start with simple, high-quality ingredients you can actually understand: sweet potatoes from our own farms in Java, grown in volcanic-rich soil; non-GMO corn; coconut oil; and all-natural seasonings. Nothing artificial.
RASA Original sweet potato chips are made with just two ingredients: mixed orange and purple sweet potatoes and coconut oil. That simplicity still sets the bar for everything we make.
No unnecessary ones. We don’t add preservatives, artificial colors, artificial sweeteners, or flavor enhancers.
Recipes vary by flavor, so check the back of the bag for the full ingredient and allergen list.
Keep them somewhere cool and dry. Once opened, seal the bag tightly to keep the crunch. Assuming there’s anything left.
Our orange and purple sweet potatoes are grown on our own farms in Indonesia, in volcanic-rich soil. Our popcorn is made with non-GMO corn sourced from the USA.
Good seasoning can do a lot. It can’t fix a bad ingredient.
It depends on the flavor. Some products are vegan and gluten-free, while others may contain ingredients like soy, gluten or animal-derived seasoning.
